Indian Savory Rice and Lentils

1/4 cup lentils (any color), soaked overnight

1/4 cup short grain brown rice, soaked overnight
2 large bay leaves

1 thumb-sized piece of ginger, roughly chopped
4 tbs white onion, rough chop
1/4 cube Not Beef bouillon
2-3 cups water
Boil water, bouillon, and bay leaf. Add soaked rice. Cover, and cook 6 minutes. Add ginger and onion. Cook another 5-6 minutes. When rice starts to get soft, add lentils. Cook until water is reduced and ingredients are soft. Serve warm.
